I would like a customer code to order online, how can I get one?

We are a wholesale distributor and can only sell to qualified retail shops. If you have an account with Downeast Bicycle Specialists then please call 800-242-1043 and we will be able to give you the customer code. If you are not a dealer and would like to be, please complete our new dealer application and return it to us.

What do I need to become a dealer with Downeast Bicycle Specialists?

New accounts must provide the following:
1) Completed and signed New Dealer Application
2) Listed business phone number
3) State sales/resale tax number
4) Proof of liability insurance
5) Verifiable full time business address

How much do I have to order to get free freight?

Free freight is dependant upon the UPS shipping zone (found in our catalog). Generally for New England freight will be prepaid for orders over $475, excluding specific heavy or bulky items like children seats, hitch racks, shop work stands, POP displays, Trail-a-Bikes, and closeout items. Also, freight is not pre-paid to Hawaii, Alaska, or coastal islands.

How late can I place an order and have it ship the same day?

Generally orders placed by 4 pm will ship the same day.

What is the minimum order?

March though October our minimum order is $50.00

November through February our minimum order is $25.00

Orders less than our minimum are subject to a $5.00 service charge

When can I place an order?

You can call toll free 800-242-1043 Monday though Friday 9 am to 5 pm. Orders can be placed online 24 hours a day.

Why is the price different than the catalog?

Our catalog is printed once per year and prices can change throughout the year. The web site pricing is accurate.
